Hi! My name is Kristin and I am a Northern Norwegian mountain climber!

This year, I have a goal of climbing all of the world's 14 mountains over 8,000 meters in less than 6 months!
Why do I do this? Because I want to show that it is possible to set big goals for yourself and, with the right attitude, motivation and team, it's possible to complete them. In addition, I want to focus on sustainability throughout this project, whether it is about the problem of waste in the mountains, carbon emissions or the industry's radically different treatment of women and men.

In 2022, I already tried to beat the current world record. However, due to administrative problems, I was unable to finish all 14 peaks and finished at only 12. In late April 2023, I started climbing the first 2 mountains that I couldn't last year, namely the two in China – Shishapangma and Cho Oyu. This allowed me to become the fastest person in the world to True Summit all 14 mountains in 1 year and 5 days. I've also beat some other records along the way: I am the fastest woman to summit both Everest and Lhotse in less than 8 hours and together with my amazing and strong sherpa Lama, we are the only people in the world to have summited 7 of the world's 14 8000ers in only 1 month and 3 days.

The money that you donate will go towards funding equipment, transport, logistic, and the salaries of the amazing people who climb with me.
