Georgi Vasilev

I am Georgi Vasilev, and I am from a small town by the sea called Chernomorets . All my friends called me Gofko. This nickname came from the skateboarders I was skating with so that's the base of the whole boardsport religion . Started with the wind sports when I was 10 windsurfing with my dad then at 16 I was already wakeboarding and then straight after kitesurfing I was very passionate waiting for the wind and sometimes chasing it around the coast . That made me go out and keep seeking for conditions so I rode basically . Spent 4 summers at the Greek island Limnos then sometimes The lack of wind and waves made me search for the right conditions for training and there was that idea of visiting the European Hawaii (canary islands) where I'm based now . Worked on a few of the islands teaching kitesurfing and Wingfoiling . I have spent countless hours training in Wingfoiling , Strapless kitesurfing , dreaming of becoming a top athlete.

In addition to the countless hours spent on training , it has also been a large spend of money for better gear and conditioner trainers and everything related to becoming better in both disciplines. I am trying to raise EUR 8000 over the next few days and weeks. In those two sports the gear and to be physically prepared is very important that's why I need top notch gear to be able to train in the water so i can compete with the elite of the sport . Training in the gym with professional trainers will be planned and scheduled according to the weather forecast and made at least 4 times a week. I am committed to doing whatever it takes to achieve my goals. I can provide a lot of surface area on my board wings or kites where stickers can be applied for representing companies logos with a great exposure on the beach in the sky or on the internet. My commitment to the sport and lifestyle has already attracted sponsors' interest from popular brands such as Appletree surfboards and Prolimit and I'm so thankful to them for trusting in me.
